Seasons stop for no one and here at Yorkshire Foragers, we play our part in the cycle of life and harvest nature’s bounty at just the right moment. In all weathers, we forage the moorlands, the meadows, the woods and the forests. The wetlands, the marshes, the coastline and the hedgerows to source the best nature has always had to offer. Founded by experienced forager and wild food expert Alysia Vasey, who has a long family tradition of foraging. Stretching back generations Alysia, her Husband and her Mother, with the odd help out from the nephews, utilise these family skills and traditions, foraging mainly around Yorkshire and having access to a network of experienced foragers covering the whole of the British Isles.
An expert in the use of botanicals, Alysia Vasey has gained a reputation amongst culinary professionals as a distinguished consultant and supplier on all things wild. Her work with some of the finest chefs in the country and abroad, has seen Alysia gain recognition and has recently published her first book, The Yorkshire Forager,  Has a brand new gin our of the same name and has become a regular on TV including James Martins Saturday Morning Show and BBC Countryfile. Not to mention many magazines and newspapers such as Good Housekeeping, The Telegraph, Chef magazine, and many more.

At the heart of Yorkshire Foragers, is a commitment to quality and sustainability. There is always one eye on the environment, never over picking, always maintaining natures outdoor bounty for next year and the year after. Generations of her family have utilised the countryside around them and the tradition has been to do so in a way that is unnoticeable.
